RAPIDCAPTURE

RapidCapture is changing

The lead capture service has stopped, and the business details it held have been deleted.

If you had an email from us: everything we held about your business was deleted on 5 October 2026. There is nothing left to unsubscribe from, and those records have not been carried over to anything new.

What has changed

RapidCapture was a lead capture tool for businesses whose enquiries tend to arrive when nobody is available to answer them. Between February and September 2026 it contacted UK trade businesses by email about it. It never took on a customer, and that service has now stopped.

The name, and the business behind it, carry on. RapidCapture is still Peter Hill, a sole trader, and will be doing something different under the same name. What it stopped doing is the part described on this page. What RapidCapture does now, and how it uses information, is set out in our privacy notice.

What we held, and where it came from

Only published business information. Your listing came from Google Places, Google’s public directory of businesses, and anything else came from your own website. It was not bought from a list broker and nobody passed it on to us.

We never held payment details, never held anything about your own customers, and never looked for anything about you personally beyond what your business publishes.

What has been deleted

All of it. The working records, every backup copy, the activity logs, and the do-not-contact list itself — there is no longer any system that could send to it.

The previous notice said deleted records could sit in backups for up to a further 90 days. That no longer applies: the backups were destroyed at the same time rather than left to age out.

Because the name is staying, this matters and we are saying it plainly: none of those records have been kept for whatever RapidCapture does next. They were deleted outright. Anything in future would start from scratch, and you would be told about it at the time, as you were about this.

If you have questions

Email peter.hill@rapidcapture.co.uk and Peter will answer it himself. You can ask whether your business was on the list, and ask for confirmation that it has been deleted.

Who is responsible

For data protection purposes the controller is Peter Hill, a sole trader trading as RapidCapture — the same person and the same business, both for the records described here and for what comes next.

Those emails were sent from the domain tryrapidcapture.com, which belonged to the same business. RapidCapture now emails only from rapidcapture.co.uk.
